Assignment: Research Fairytales and/or Myths. Choose one that resonates with you (your life). Write a comparison/reflective essay: taking an aspect of your life that resembles an aspect of the Myth or Fairytale that you have chosen and explore that in the paper. Use two quotes from the handouts I have given you written by Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, or Bruno Bettelheim, to support your comparison/reflection. You can use other sources as you see fit, but only two are required. Integrate the quotes into your essay. No long summaries of the storiesonly a brief summary. Though you have research to do, it is not a research paper so please dont fill up the paper with quotes.
